CAMBRIDGE, MA – August 1, 2019 - Cambridge Bancorp (NASDAQ: CATC), parent company of Cambridge Trust, announced that it has hired David Felton as Senior Vice President, Director of Business Banking. Mr. Felton will be in charge of growth and development for all business deposits and lending solutions, focusing on small to midsize businesses. This newly created role will enhance Cambridge Trust’s holistic private and business banking and wealth management offerings in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. “David’s deep understanding of the needs of small to midsize businesses and nonprofits, combined with his passion for exceptional client service, will prove invaluable to our division,” noted Kerri Mooney, Senior Vice President and Director of Private Banking.
About David Felton
Mr. Felton has spent over a decade in business banking roles in Greater Boston. He comes to Cambridge Trust from Customers Bank where he served as Senior Vice President, Commercial Banking for the New England region. Prior to this role, Mr. Felton spent over eight years at Rockland Trust where he worked with small and middle market businesses and nonprofit organizations handling all aspects of their banking needs, including cash management, commercial lending, and investment management. He was also responsible for sales, relationship management, marketing, employee training and product management.
Mr. Felton serves on the board of advisors for Understanding Our Differences and is a graduate of New England College of Business. He is currently pursuing his MBA at the University of Massachusetts Isenberg School of Management.
