To Our Valued Clients,

As the state encourages businesses to begin resuming operations, our Cambridge Trust team continues to provide uninterrupted service and a strong focus on safety for our clients and employees. Recent guidance from the state and our medical community has recommended new engagement practices for client interactions to mitigate the risk associated with COVID-19. We have aligned our banking office protocols with these suggestions and provide the following information to update you on important changes to the banking offices’ hours of operation, new lobby practices, and office access.

Effective June 1, 2020, all of our banking offices in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire will resume normal banking hours with the following exceptions:

  • South End, 565 Tremont Street, Boston, MA
    • Monday - Friday: 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM
    • Saturday & Sunday: Closed
  • Pease Tradeport, 20 International Drive, Portsmouth, NH
    • Monday - Friday: 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM
    • Saturday & Sunday: Closed
  • Dover, Stratham, & North Hampton, NH
    • Monday - Thursday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
    • Friday: 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM
    • Saturday: 9-12pm By Appointment or Drive Up Service*
*Note:  Clients who need lobby service on Saturdays in these NH offices should proceed through the drive up first.

Information for when you arrive.

To maintain a safe environment and ensure we adhere to building capacity guidelines, our entrances will be managed by a lobby ambassador. When arriving at our banking offices, the following can be expected:
  • Doors will be locked with entrance provided by a lobby ambassador. Please knock on the door for assistance.
  • Clients will be asked to log in with the ambassador and provide contact information.
  • Clients will be required to wear a mask. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided for you.
  • Clients will be asked a series of health screening questions including exposure to existing cases of COVID 19 and recent symptoms of the illness.
  • Maximum capacity of each office will be displayed on the front entrance sign.
Our first priority is the safety and health of our clients and employees.
The Bank is observing the following practices in line with the state guidance:
  • Wearing a mask is mandatory.
  • Clients and employees must practice social distancing (6 feet apart). Signage throughout the office will designate appropriate distances.
  • Our restrooms are currently closed to the public.
  • Hand sanitizer is available in all banking offices.
  • Pets will not be allowed in our offices during the initial phases of re-entry. Service dogs are allowed.

Safe and secure options to conduct your personal and business banking needs.
While our lobbies will be open effective June 1, 2020, we encourage you to utilize the following options to assist with all your banking needs:
  • Drive up windows remain open. Visit our locations page for more information.
  • Schedule an appointment to minimize wait time. Contact you preferred banking office to make an appointment.
  • ATMs, Online and Mobile Banking, and Online Account Opening are available 24/7.
  • Our Client Resource Center is available from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday -Friday at 617-441-1444 or 844-251-4244 or email [email protected].

For the safety of others, we ask that you please refrain from visiting a banking office if the following applies:

  • You have been in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19.
  • You have had a fever or felt feverish in the last 72 hours.
  • You are experiencing any symptoms related to COVID-19.

Our banking lobbies continue to be temporarily closed to the general public with limited hours, but will re-open as soon as the environment supports a safe return and state restrictions are lifted. In the interim, we offer the following options to assist with all your banking needs:

  • Drive up windows remain open with limited hours. Visit our locations page for more information.
  • Banking offices are staffed and available by appointment only for critical banking office needs, including access to safe deposit boxes. Contact you preferred banking office to make an appointment.
  • ATMs, Online and Mobile Banking, and Online Account Opening are available 24/7.
