Important Message Regarding Target's Unauthorized Data Access

On Thursday, December 19, 2013, Target® announced there was unauthorized access to their payment card data. The unauthorized access may impact customers who made credit or debit card purchases in Target's U.S. stores from November 27 to December 15, 2013.

What you should know:

  • Cambridge Trust Company will notify any customers if we learn that your Cambridge Trust Debit MasterCard® Card may have been compromised. If notified, we will replace your compromised card with a new Debit MasterCard Card.
  • At Cambridge Trust, we make every effort to combat fraud and ensure all transactions are secure.
  • Use of your Cambridge Trust debit card will not be interrupted unless we detect that your card was used at a Target store during the unauthorized access timeframe.
  • MasterCard® International is contacting banks as they receive information from Target regarding the data compromise.
