At our company's core is a dedication to and participation in a wide range of community activities and volunteer organizations. The bank's staff lends technical expertise, experience and judgement to many organizations.
Here are a few examples of our community involvement:
Massachusetts
Cambridge Employment Program
The Cambridge Employment Program (CEP) provides free employment assistance to Cambridge residents. By appointment, staff are available to provide individualized career counseling and job search assistance, including help with resume and cover letter development, help identifying job leads and researching employers, and instruction in using the Internet for job search.
Cambridge Family & Children's Service
Originally founded in 1873 as an orphanage for children, the mission of Cambridge Family & Children's Service (CFCS) is to strengthen families and promote conditions that provide children and adolescents with stable homes and community environments. CFCS provides a variety of programs and services to ensure that infants, toddlers, and older and often forgotten children receive the opportunity for a permanent adoptive family; young adolescent women are provided with safe, nurturing homes and the opportunity to acquire independent living skills; families who have a child with physical or mental disabilities obtain the support services they need; and homeless mothers with young children gain the means and skills to transition to permanent housing.
Cambridge Housing Assistance Fund
The Cambridge Housing Assistance Fund (CHAF) is committed to preserving the diversity and character of the city of Cambridge by providing an economical bridge to housing for homeless and near homeless families and individuals. Funds donated to CHAF assist those in need with the startup costs of rental housing.
Concord Carlisle Community Chest
The Community Chest supports 26 agencies that offer a broad range of community services such as food pantry, domestic violence counseling, adult respite care, adoption service, substance abuse, and adolescent programs.
Margaret Fuller Neighborhood House
The mission of the Margaret Fuller Neighborhood House is to strengthen families and individuals in the Area IV neighborhood of Cambridge and secondarily, in the city of Cambridge.
Wayland High School Scholarship Committee
This non-profit organization awards college scholarships to Wayland High School seniors. All of the scholarships are given on a needs basis.

The New Hampshire Charitable Foundation is a statewide community foundation. The mission of NHCF is to improve the quality of life in the communities they serve.
