Jeffrey Smith is Executive Vice President, Wealth Management. In this role, Jeff leads the Cambridge Trust Wealth Management Division including all investment management, trust and estate services, financial planning, and tax planning services along with delivering Private Banking services to Wealth Management clients. Jeff joined Cambridge Trust Wealth Management in 2023 after serving at Rockland Trust Investment Management for 24 years. He started his career at Scudder, Stevens & Clark in Boston, MA.

Jeff has his CFP designation and earned his B.A. in Economics at the University of Vermont. He serves on the board of Cooperative Production in Taunton, MA, which provides programs and services to address the needs of local citizens with intellectual and developmental disabilities and brain injuries, and on the board of the Cardinal Cushing Centers in Hanover, MA, a place where exceptional individuals of all ages and abilities find possibility, opportunity, and hope. Jeff also serves as the executive sponsor for Eastern Bank’s Military Veterans and Families Employee Resource Group.
