Jeffrey Smith is Executive Vice President, Head of Wealth Management. In this role, Mr. Smith leads the combined Cambridge Trust and Eastern Bank Wealth Management teams including investment management, trust and estate services, and financial and tax planning services, along with delivering Private Banking services to Wealth Management clients from Massachusetts and New Hampshire to Connecticut. Mr. Smith joined Eastern Bank in July 2024 through the merger with Cambridge Trust, after joining Cambridge Trust in 2023 following a 24-year career at Rockland Trust Investment Management. He started his career at Scudder, Stevens & Clark in Boston, MA.
Mr Smith has his CFP designation and earned his B.A. in Economics at the University of Vermont. He serves on the board of Cooperative Production in Taunton, MA, which provides programs and services to address the needs of local citizens with intellectual and developmental disabilities and brain injuries.
