Cambridge Trust Company Opens New Branch in Belmont

Bank presents $5,000 donation to Foundation for Belmont Education as part of grand opening
Belmont, MA - Cambridge Trust Company celebrated the opening of its newest branch at 361 Trapelo Road, located between Waverly and Cushing Squares in Belmont, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Belmont Board of Selectmen Angelo Firenze and other town officials joined Joseph V. Roller II, President and CEO of Cambridge Trust Company at the ceremony to commemorate the opening of Cambridge Trust Company's tenth branch.
Mr. Roller hailed the new branch as an opportunity for Cambridge Trust Company to better serve the people of Belmont and surrounding communities. "Cambridge Trust is excited to join the Belmont community" he said. "This new location is well-positioned to bring our long-standing tradition of attentive customer service to current and prospective customers in the area."
In honor of the occasion, Mr. Roller presented a $5,000 donation to Lynne Polcari, President of Foundation for Belmont Education. Since 1993, the Foundation has helped support the Belmont Public Schools through awarding grants that promote educational excellence.
Also on hand at the ribbon-cutting ceremony were children from Belmont Second Soccer who assisted in unveiling the Cambridge Trust Community Room. The Community Room is a special feature of the new branch and will be available to local non-profit organizations for meetings both during normal business hours and after-hours by appointment.
The Belmont office is staffed with experienced and knowledgeable banking professionals. The branch will be managed by Steven Pisan who comes to Cambridge Trust with nearly thirty years of retail banking experience, having previously worked for CitiBank, and Fleet Bank in Lexington and Waltham. The Assistant Branch Manager, Howie Soul, a Belmont resident, was formerly the manager of Belmont Savings Bank¿s Cushing Office. Dina Scianna, Relationship Manager Commercial Services and Mortgage Banking, will also maintain an office at the branch.
